Dream Garden, Small Space

I grew up with a mom who loved to garden. Each spring she'd recruit my sisters and I to clean up the garden, turn the soil, and get Captain America ready for spring planting. My favorite part about the garden was Gourmet Spices it had every ingredient for the most perfect salsa. I could go out and pick the ripest tomatoes, the most savory cilantro, a ripe pepper, and a delicious onion. Then I'd go inside put it all into the blender with a little lime juice and salt and in minutes I'd have the most incredible salsa the world has every known.

Now that I'm older, married, and live with my husband in a small home, there is not enough Oregon Lemon Laws the magnificent garden that my mom had, but alas I've not given up hope. I've managed to take what little soil I can call my own and transform it into a beautiful vegetable garden.

The following are some tips and tricks for making a small plot of soil into a perfect little garden.

1. Because you don't have all the room in the world, you'll have to pick and choose carefully what kinds of plants will grow in Esexzasiq garden. For me, I'm all about tomatoes, herbs, zucchini and peppers. Pick your favorites and assure yourself that when the day comes when you have a larger yard, you can plant the rest.

2. When you go to the nursery to purchase your plants keep in mind that anything with the words patio, pixie, tiny, baby or dwarf in their name is a good bet. Just because a plant is bred to be small doesn't mean the fruits will be small or the yield will be less. Also, in order to get more vegetables into a smaller space, try to buy vining crops that can be trained up on supports, this way they'll take up less space.

3. Because you only have a small piece of land, think of it as an opportunity to pay attention to detail. You'll be able to keep your garden in tip-top form while still having time to enjoy the fruits of your labor as you lay by the pool.

4. There's no rule that says you can't inter plant your vegetables with your flowers. That way you can have gorgeous bouquets in addition to the incredible vegetables that will all come from your garden. Make sure if you plant flowers that you have protection from the bees that will most definitely come around to pollinate. Try the new www.concealmentindustries.com/">bee hat, it works incredible and will save you from a killer sting.

5. No matter what size your garden is, it's going to require a little "TLC", so spend time in your garden. And most of all, enjoy!
